Hyde sign trio of players

Hyde United have announced the signings of three new players.

Goal Keeper Aidan Winterbottom joins from Stalybridge Celtic. Manager Dave McGurk said:“Aidan comes in to provide cover should anything happen to Luke. James Hodges and Thierry Lewis are both currently injured so we have had to move to make sure we are not left short.” – Dave McGurk

Defender Luis Morrison joins the Tigers having had spells with Grays, Dorking, Buxton, Alfreton Town, Nuneaton Town and most recently Stratford Town.“Luis joins us and is available for tomorrow evening" said McGurk. "He is a player with a real presence and is another one who has impressed in training. He’s vocal and will add strength and leadership down the spine of the team.” 

The club have also strengthened the attacking department with forward Michael Elstone. He lists Marine, Glossop North End and most recently Curzon Ashton as his previous clubs. He was also involved in the youth teams at Crewe Alexandra, Bangor City and Fulham.McGurk said: “Michael has been training with us leaving Curzon and he has impressed during that time with us. He’s looked sharp and should be able to come in and hit the ground running.”
