
It was a double weekend for the majority of clubs as the cup fixtures from last weekend’s washout were rearranged for Sunday.
Saturday
Division One
Broadbottom v Tintwistle
Tintwistle won the toss and elected to field as Broadbottom reached 238-3 before declaring. Harrison Webb scored 47, Joe Brotherton 88, Chris Cheetham-Robert’s 46 and James Pool 38.
The match succumbed to rain with Tintwistle 125-6, as the teams shared the points. Ryan Nixon hit 68 while Joe Riley took 3-5.
Dinting v Pott Shrigley
Pott Shrigley won the toss and elected to field, seeing Dinting reach 148-7 from their 36 overs. Greg Harwick struck 37 as Matthew Baqueriza-Jackson took 4-20.
Pott Shrigley were bowled out, 18 runs short of their target, despite 58 from James William and 35 from Simon Dunn. Ryan Stringer and Greg Harwick claimed three wickets each.
Hayfield v Dove Holes
Dove Holes won the toss and asked their hosts to bat first, bowling Hayfield out for 115. Dove Holes raced to victory in just 16.4 overs without losing a wicket to claim a 20 point victory.
New Mills v Newton
Newton won the toss and elected to field, seeing their hosts reach 151-6 from their 40 overs. Callum Firth scored 37 and Mohammed Ayub 41 with Andrew Allcock taking 3-47. The match was abandoned before Newton could start their reply.
Woodley v Stalybridge
Stalybridge won the toss and elected to field, as Woodley racked up 201-3 before declaring.
Daniel Oldland struck 66 and Danny Kay finished 87 not out. Stalybridge were 65-5 when the weather prevented any more play, and the match was abandoned.
Division Two
Charlesworth v Birch Vale
Birch won the toss and elected to field, bowling Charlesworth out for 92, as Jack Linskey took 5-24. Birch Vale were themselves bowled out 21 runs short of their target. Jack Linskey offered resistance with 42, but David Wood took 4-16 and Elliott Morley 3-15.
Hazel Grove v High Lane
Hazel Grove won the toss and elected to field, seeing High Lane end on 111-9. James McCarthy made 42 and Kyle Eiselt 31, as Lewis Rodgers took 4-27. Hazel Grove clinched victory for the loss of five wickets as Mark Coram ended on 31no.
Hollingworth v Old Glossop
The match was abandoned.
Whaley Bridge v Chapel
Whaley Bridge won the toss and invited Chapel to bat first, as the guests were bowled out for 129. Joe Jackson scored 47 and Keith Hallam 35, as Dale Jones took 5-20. Whaley Bridge only lost one wicket on their way to victory as Henry Holden struck 69.

Buxworth v Hayfield
Buxworth won the toss and elected to field, as Hayfield racked up 202-7. Jacob Miller struck 105 and Harry Howarth 38, with Cam Hammond claiming 4-42. Buxworth were bowled out for 123 in reply. Rick Lee scored 37 as Jack Cook and Harry Howarth took three wickets each.
Chapel v New Mills
New Mills won the toss and elected to field, as Chapel were bowled out for 162. John Theyer scored 60, as Harry Cunningham took 5-16. New Mills fell to 83 all out in reply, as Paul Jones took 4-14 and John Theyer 3-22.
Dove Holes v Woodley
Woodley won the toss and elected to field, as Dove Holes ended on 198-9. Mark Turner struck 63 and Rob Hawkes 60, as William Adam took 3-58 and Dave Hotson 4-29. Woodley were bowled out for 84 in reply as Cory Flint took 6-25.
Newton v Dinting
Dinting won the toss and elected to bat first, as Newton bowled them out for 46, with Rhys Goodhall and Jamie Jackson claiming three wickets each. Newton wasted no time and eased home in 8.3 overs for the loss of just one wicket.
Old Glossop v Hollingworth
Old Glossop won the toss and elected to bat first, reaching 172-8. Andy Dwyer scored 32, Mark Allen 30 and Stephen Allcock 42 as Mohammed Naseer took 4-37 and Mohammed Ramzan 3-19.
Alex Halliday started positively in reply, striking 46, but Hollingworth fell just five runs short. Andy Smith claimed 3-40 as Old Glossop bowled out Hollingworth.
Pott Shrigley v Broadbottom
Pott Shrigley won the toss and elected to field seeing Broadbottom post 170-8. Nick Courtney scored 73 as Richard Caslaw took 4-33. Pott Shrigley were bowled out for 136 in reply.
Ian Tomenson scored 37, Tom Coates 34 and Jon Wilkie 30 with Sophie Gould taking 5-28 and Seb Croft 3-30.
Stalybridge v Hazel Grove
Hazel Grove won the toss and elected to field, as they bowled out their hosts for 93 with Jack Meikle claiming 5-13 and Charlie Higson 3-23. Hazel Grove reached victory for the loss of three wickets as Andy Tomlinson carried his bat for 37no.
Charlesworth v Tintwistle
Charlesworth won the toss and elected to field as Tintwistle fell to 73 all out. Charlesworth made it home with three wickets remaining in a low scoring thriller.

Broadbottom v Birch Vale
Broadbottom batted first and were bowled out for 330. Dom Perrin scored 102, Joe Riley 44 and Seb Croft 79, as Steve Burns took 3-44. Birch Vale were 62-4 when rain ended the game. With a result needed, a bowl out took place with Broadbottom emerging victorious.
Charlesworth v Chapel
Chapel won the toss and elected to field, bowling their hosts out for 76. Harry Beal took 3-15. Chapel reached victory for the loss of just three wickets, with John Wardle claiming all three for 11 runs.
Dove Holes v Dinting
Dove won the toss and elected to field, bowling out Dinting for 72. Sean Critchlow and Dan Waterhouse claimed three wickets each. Dove raced home inside 13 overs for the loss of one wicket as Dan Gilbride ended 34no and James Gemmell 31no.
Hazel Grove v Hayfield
Hayfield won the toss and elected to field, seeing their hosts score 160-4. Richard Burke scored 52, Mike Burnard 30 and Si Lomas 33.
Hayfield fell short of the required run rate and ended on 99-9 before rain prevented the final wicket from falling. Jake Bennett claimed 5-16.

Tintwistle won the toss and chose to bat first, as they were bowled out for 146. Karl Handforth struck 44 and Ryan Nixon 39, as Jacob Dooley took 3-29 and Hur Bin Tariq 4-56. Stalybridge were bowled out 24 runs short of their target with Stuart Rose taking 3-23 and Ryan Nixon 4-18.

Newton v Old Glossop
Newton won the toss and elected to field, bowling out Old Glossop for 109. George Ashworth and Joseph Hoctor took three wickets each.
Newton made it home with five wickets to spare thanks to 56 not out from Jack Mercer.
Tintwistle v Stalybridge
Stalybridge won the toss and elected to field, bowling their hosts out for 102. Madussar Bashir took 3-10 and Ned Woodman 3-17. Stalybridge raced to a nine wicket win as Tilak Bhojani hit 65.
