£5,000 reward offered for safe return of missing dog

MISSING: Frankie

A reward of £5,000 has been offered by the owners of a dog which went missing in Hyde almost two months ago.

Frankie, a Cavapoo, went missing from the Garden Street playing fields in Newton, on Sunday 23 October at around 6.30pm, after being spooked by fireworks.

Frankie could still be in the Hyde area or be travelling around Manchester as she lives in Whitefield in Bury.

People are asked not to shout, chase or approach her. She will be very scared and not come to strangers.

Frankie's owner Chelsea Degisi posted on Facebook: "We have no reason to believe anyone has Frankie but we also don’t want to leave any boxes unticked!

"We're offering a £5,000 reward for her safe return or information leading us straight to her. Please do the right thing, she needs to be home with her family and we need her home."

A GoFundMe page has been set up and has already raised over £1,000, with donations going towards funding any equipment which may be needed to find any lost dogs.

If you have any information about Frankie's whereabouts, contact 07305 276 769 or 07960 873 400.

We also have a dedicated page on our website to report pets missing in the High Peak, Tameside and Oldham areas, where we can help spread the word and return them home safely.
