A specially themed sci-fi event will come to Hyde's Artisan Market on 4 September.
Plans for the event had to be cancelled last year due to the lockdown but have now been rescheduled.
Although not as ambitious as the planned May 2020 event, it will be supported by local group Hyde Fundraisers who will work with the market’s team to ensure a safe event for all.
Steve Haines from Hyde Fundraisers said: “We are delighted to visit Hyde after our original plans were cancelled due to the pandemic.
“The town is the birthplace of the group, and we will bring some great characters to safely interact and entertain in September. I hope we can resurrect our planned larger scale event in 2022 when budgets permit to bring a celebrity guest and movie vehicles to the town like we had originally planned.
“However, September 4th will be a great opportunity to invade Hyde and we look forward to seeing everyone there then.”
