Residents are being given another chance to air their views on plans for the former Denton Baths site overlooking Victoria Park.
Irwell Valley Homes wants to build a four storey block of 46 flats which would provide affordable homes to rent for people who may need help to live independently.
The not-for-profit company has been consulting the local community before submitting a detailed planning application.
The scheme as envisaged is for 36 one-bedroom and ten two-bedroom apartments with communal facilities, landscaped gardens and 23 parking spaces.
The design team will be on hand to any questions at the Festival Hall on Thursday (February 2) from 5pm to 7pm.
Many residents in the surrounding area have already voiced strong objections.
Denton North East Cllr Allison Gwynne shared their concerns that the development would be too large for the site and would "visually hem in" Victoria Park and the terraced houses on the other side of Victoria Street.
Another issue is the number of parking spaces compared with the number of flats and the potential impact on the area's on-street parking which is already over-capacity.
Irwell Valley Homes' chief excutive Sasha Deepwell said: “We welcome feedback on how we best bring this derelict land back into use, meeting local needs and enhancing the area."
She added there was a genuine need for suitable accommodation with a focus on the over 55s but also younger people with health and social care needs.
