Denton MP Andrew Gwynne and local councillors Allison Gwynne and Claire Reid have paid a visit to a local weight-loss support group which has relaunched.
The brainchild of Lynda Leadbetter, Beeweighed is an independent weight loss group that offers a weekly weigh-in and group support meeting irrespective of what diet plan people choose to follow. It was the overall winner of Local Business of the Year Award in Denton in 2019.
MP Gwynne said: "I'm really pleased to be here and supporting Beeweighed after such a tough year and a half.
"Beeweighed run sessions across Greater Manchester, and I've joined the Denton sessions to help shift a few extra pounds I've put on over lockdown. Beeweighed doesn't tie you to any weightloss plan, and focusses instead on giving you the support you need to make your weightloss journey that bit easier.
"It's a fantastic local business, and I wish Lynda all the best with her relaunch."
