A 35-year-old man from Droylsden has been charged with a series of three burglaries, three vehicle thefts and a host of driving offences in Tameside and Oldham.
Lee Staley, of Devon Road, was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning (26 March) and subsequently charged the following day.
He has been charged with the following offences:
- Using a vehicle without insurance, driving a vehicle whilst disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence, and theft of a vehicle in Oldham on 26 February
- Using a vehicle without insurance and driving a vehicle whilst disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence in Mossley on 10 March
- Theft of a vehicle in Tameside on 10 March
- Burglary (dwelling) on Grey Street in Ashton on 10 March
- Burglary (dwelling) on Cecil Street in Stalybridge on 10 March
- Burglary (dwelling) on Gorse Avenue in Oldham on 26 February
- Using a vehicle without insurance and driving a vehicle whilst disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence in Droylsden on 23 March
- Taking a vehicle without the owner's consent on Manchester Road in Droylsden on 23 March.
Staley was remanded in police custody to appear at magistrates court.
