Dukinfield Library is set to close for a week to allow essential maintenance work to take place.
The library on Concord Way will be shut from Monday 22 March and reopen the following Monday (29 March).
A Tameside Libraries spokesperson said: "We apologise for any inconvenience the week-long closure may cause."
Tameside's seven other libraries – in Ashton, Denton, Droylsden, Hattersley, Hyde, Mossley and Stalybridge – will remain open for click-and-collect and essential PC usage in line with government restrictions.
Alternatively, members can take advantage of Tameside Libraries' e-lending service - which offers a vast range of books, magazines and newspapers as well as online reference facilities.
