Dukinfield pub's fundraiser for local mental health charity

Dukinfield's Mason Arms pub is hosting a special event to raise money for The Anthony Seddon Fund.

On Sunday 29 August, live performers will take to the stage from 2-11pm, accompanied by food and fundraising activities.

Prizes for a raffle have also been donated by local businesses ranging from a hot tub mini break to cinema tickets and meals out.

All funds will go to Ashton charity, The Anthony Seddon Fund, to support their mental health services.

Mark Cottam is behind the event, while landlord of the Mason Arms, George Mycock, is doing a sponsored cycle ride to Blackpool with his son James Mycock and pub regulars Keith Oldham, Dave Gorton and Mark Jones to boost funds this Saturday.

Shawn Campbell, another regular at the Mason Arms, will also be shaving his head to raise extra funds.
