Tameside Hospital has presented a ‘Who’s Your Hero Award’ to quality and governance admin support officer Faye Lee.
Faye receives the award for her outstanding contribution to keeping staff and patients safe at the hospital. She has only been in the post for six months, but has already made such an impression that the entire Quality and Governance Team wanted to see her efforts recognised.
Since joining the team, Faye has done exceptional work to maintain and improve the Ulysses Safeguard system, helping keep it up to date and ensuring incident notifications go to the right people for action.
In their nomination, Faye’s team said: “The work Faye does has improved efficiency for staff managing and monitoring risks and incidents.
“We all think she goes above and beyond and we would love her to know that she is our hero.”
Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT Chief Executive Karen James OBE, presented Faye with her award and told her: “You should certainly feel really proud as there is no greater accolade than to be recognised by your colleagues who truly understand the value of your work and dedication.”
