The first images of Broadbottom actress Millie Gibson appearing in Doctor Who have been released by the BBC.
The 18-year-old former Coronation Street star will be the youngest Doctor's companion in the science fiction show's history when the new series airs later this year.
Millie - who used to go to Blue Coat School in Oldham - dons a "swinging 60s" look in viewers' first glimpse of her as the Time Lord's sidekick Ruby Sunday.
It was announced in November last year that she will join the cast alongside Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa, 30, who will play the Doctor.
That followed Millie's dramatic exit from the Corrie cobbles in September when her character Kelly Neelan left the ITV soap in emotional scenes.
Doctor Who returns in November, with three special episodes featuring David Tennant as the 14th Doctor to coincide with the 60th anniversary.
Gatwa's first episode as the 15th Doctor will air over the festive period.
