Colleagues at the Ashton branch of Yorkshire Building Society are to hold a cost-of-living drop-in session to help local residents through the current economic challenges.
The Society will run the free drop-in 10.30am – 11.45pm on Wednesday 14 June at the Oasis Community Resource Centre on Tatton Road in Haughton Green.
The engaging and informative event aims to uncover what exactly the cost-of-living phrase means, what help is available and will include handy hints and tips to help attendees save money and where, if they need it, they can get support. The event is open to all.
Amanda Allwood, branch manager at Ashton’s Yorkshire Building Society, said: “We’re all used to hearing about the cost-of-living, and indeed are feeling its impact, but we’re running this session to try and help people understand more about what’s happening and what help might be available to support them through the current challenges. We’re looking forward to seeing anyone who’s interested in hearing more.”
