Guide dogs charity event in Ashton

An event is taking place at Tameside One on Thursday (February 27) to raise money for a guide dogs charity.

It has been organised by Level 3 Travel and Tourism students at Tameside College.

It will take place in the public restaurant at Tameside One in Ashton town centre from 11am to 2pm.

All proceeds will go to The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, who help to provide and train guide dogs.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet guide dogs and talk to their owners.

There will also be cakes on sale, a tombola, the chance to decorate a biscuit, name the bear and much more.
