Fancy a career working in health and social care? Then look no further than Dukinfield Town Hall on Wednesday (9 March).
For then the hall will be playing host to a health and social care careers fair.
Health and Social care organisations are the largest employers in Tameside and are always looking for new people interested in helping make Tameside a safe and healthy place to live.
They are looking for people new to work and people who are making a change in career and want to make a difference to others.
The following skills and areas are all needed and can offer rewarding career opportunities.
- Management and Finance - Looking for people interested in a career helping manage health and social care budgets as well as the huge range of support admin roles, data management and IT support.
- Front Line support staff - Looking for people interested in a career in caring. Health care assistants, home care, residential care and a wide range of jobs which support front line professionals
- Catering - Looking for people with skills in providing food for people in need. Talk to representatives from hospital catering, social services and care homes.
Individual advice will be on hand to help visitors who have problems accessing work, and for those who are not sure what they might want to do.
There will be roving advisors to talk to visitors and spot those who may be perplexed and also to offer advice on how to access and complete application processes.
No appointment is necessary and you can just go along on the day between the hours of 4pm to 8pm.
