Hyde Werneth Conservative councillors are organising a series of spring cleans.
The community clean-ups link in with the Keep Britain Tidy Great British Spring Clean which runs from 25 March to 10 April.
Hyde Werneth councillors Ruth Welsh and Phil Chadwick are organising the litter picks, which will be followed by clean-ups arranged by Gee Cross Brabyns Neighbourhood Watch and Werneth Low Neighbourhood Watch.
The clean-up dates are:
• Saturday 26 March at 10.30am - Haughton Street entrance to Gower Hey Woods.
• Sunday 27 March at 11am - Gower Road entrance behind the Shell garage.
• Saturday 2 April at 10.30am - Waverley Road field.
• Sunday 3 April at 2pm - Sam Redfern Green car park - organised by GX Brabyns Neighbourhood Watch.
• Saturday 9 April at 10.30am - St George's Church.
Litter pickers, gloves and bin bags will all be provided.
