Last Night of the Proms at Ashton church for Willow Wood

The final countdown is on for a Last Night of the Proms event organised on behalf of Willow Wood Hospice in Ashton.

Ashton-under-Lyne Brass Band will be playing a selection of brass classics at Albion Church in Ashton on Friday 21 April. 

Starting at 7pm, this event promises to be an wonderful showcase of brass music that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired.

The first half will include tunes to celebrate the forthcoming Coronation and a selection from the film Brassed Off.

The second half will include the usual Proms’ favourites such as Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem.

A licensed bar will be available on the evening and flags will be available to buy to wave along to the finale.
