Hyde Youth Theatre is on the lookout for budding actors to join its ranks.
The group, based in Studio 9 at Hyde Little Theatre, have several different age brackets, ranging from four to 18 years old, and hold after-school sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
“Our sessions are all based on growing in confidence, increasing your theatrical skills or just having lots of fun with others,” said a statement from the organisers.
“Participants can expect professionally facilitated sessions which are accessible with a perfect blend of games, storytelling, drama, performance opportunities, singing and fun.
“Our Youth Theatre is inclusive and open to anyone to join. On occasion we operate a waiting list, so that participants are able to concentrate on working towards performances.
“On occasion we also offer the opportunity for our children and young people to take part in theatre performances and to visit professional productions at a range of local venues.
“Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in professional workshops outside our regular sessions, perform at public events and be involved in the society’s productions when opportunities arise.”
It is affiliated to the National Association of Youth Theatres, and has membership of the Greater Manchester Drama Federation and the Association of Community Theatre.
