Denton's Magical Memories group has celebrated its tenth anniversary at The Oasis Centre in Haughton Green.
The group was established to bring isolated older folk together in friendship and companionship and is especially for those who might otherwise struggle to get out and about and meet new friends.
The group has been meeting weekly at the centre ever since and enjoys different activities.
It has an active membership of more than 20, with most aged in their 70s and 80s.
As part of their tenth anniversary celebrations, Denton-based Ensemble Theatre Inclusive Arts group helped members create a film and artwork for a display.
Ensemble founded Janet Fagan explained: “Irwell Valley invited us to get more involved with the group to help them celebrate.
“We undertook a 12 week programme with members, with everything from armchair exercises to ballroom dancing at the Oasis Centre.
“We also created a dramatic film with members about a trip to the seaside, which was filmed and screened back for them to enjoy.”
Janet added that they also helped members create artworks for a display, all helping to produce more ‘Magical Memories’.
