A man was seriously injured after being subjected to a 'sustained assault' by three masked men who forced their way into his Dukinfield home.
Greater Manchester Police say they were called to a report of a serious assault at an address on Sandringham Drive at around 9pm on Monday evening (31 January).
Initial enquiries established that three unknown males wearing balaclavas had entered the property, before carrying out a sustained assault which left the victim - a man in his 50s - with serious injuries.
No arrests have yet been made.
