Residents are being invited to a public meeting as part of the ongoing campaign to save the greenhouse in Stamford Park in Stalybridge from demolition.
The meeting will be held at West Hill School on Stamford Street on Wednesday 21 July at 7pm.
Campaigners have been fighting for several years to prevent the century-old John Nield Conservatory, which has stood empty since 2015, from being bulldozed by Tameside Council, after bosses declared it was unsafe and would be too expensive to restore.
A spokesperson for the 'Save Stamford Park Greenhouse Group' said: "We will provide full updates of all progress made over the course of the last 12 months during lockdown, and since our last public meeting.
"We will also be confirming new members of the constituted group, and will have a guest speaker from Incredible Edibles in Todmorden to give us a mini presentation, on how successful their edible walkways project has been.
"We welcome any community members to attend, and hope to also encourage more active members of the community to join our friends group and participate in the current projects running."
