Sunday (18 September) marks the 10th anniversary since the deaths of police officers Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes in Tameside.
The police constables from Greater Manchester Police were killed by Dale Cregan in a gun and grenade ambush in 2012 while responding to a false report of a burglary in Mottram.
The incident was the first in the United Kingdom in which two female police officers were killed on duty.
There will be a memorial taking place on Sunday morning from 10.40am - with a minute's silence at 10.53am - at Hyde police station.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
A temporary road closure will be in place from 10.20am, on Clarendon Road at the junction of Park Lane and Repton Avenue, meaning there will be no access beyond Hyde police station for around an hour.
