Drivers using the A57 Hyde Road are advised that there will be a series of lane closures due to essential gas works.
To ensure the safety of road users and its workforce, National Highways will be closing one lane of traffic on the A57 Hyde Road between the M67 junction 2 exit slip road and the Nisa Local in Denton (opposite St Anne’s Road Bridge) from Wednesday (26 April) until Friday 5 May.
The closure is also scheduled to also be in place from Thursday 1 June to Monday 12 June.
The lane closure will be managed by two-way traffic lights. The M67 westbound exit slip road at junction 2 will also remain closed while the gas works take place.
National Highways say it is working closely with the utility provider to reduce the period of traffic management where possible.
It's part of the A57 St Anne's Road bridge replacement scheme. Further information is available by visiting the following webpage nationalhighways.co.uk/our-roads/north-west/m67-st-anne-s-road-bridge-replacement-project/ and Twitter updates are also available at @HighwaysNWEST.
