MP Andrew Gwynne braved bad weather and heights to raise money for a special little girl from Dukinfield.
He took on the 1.5km zip line in Penrhyn Quarry, Wales, to fundraise for seven-year-old Florence Croce, who suffers from the genetic condition Late Infantile GM1 Gangliosidosis.
The disease is regressive and life limiting, with Florence’s parents told that she won’t live past the age of ten.
Since her diagnosis four years ago, family and friends have been fundraising to give Florence the best life possible, with the zip-line the latest in a string of fundraisers by the MP.

Last weekend, he took on the fastest zip line in the world, climbing to a heigh of 721 meters before descending 222 meters, reaching 60 miles per hour in less than ten seconds and reaching a top speed of 118 miles per hour.
So far, £2,625 has been donated to a GoFundMe page set up by Florence’s mum, Jenny.
