
People are being invited to bring their friends and family down to Stalybridge Fire Station on Friday (2 September) for an Open Day promising fun for everyone.
There will be the opportunity to see real fire vehicles, watch some rescue demos, learn about fire safety and meet local firefighters to ask them any questions you may have.
There will also be plenty of stalls, children’s rides and games for you all to enjoy.
The event will run from 10am until 5pm, and Tameside Radio will be broadcasting live for the day.
The fire station is situated on Rassbottom Street.
There is no need to book, simply turn up and admission is free.
