Rail services are back on track at Stalybridge train station in time for the Easter weekend.
It follows 26 days of major works, the largest to date in the Transpennine Route Upgrade.
The works will electrify the whole route between Manchester and York via Huddersfield and Leeds.
Rail diversions and a mix of rail replacement buses have operated between Manchester and Huddersfield while the works, which began on 11 March, have been ongoing.
Further works will continue on the weekends April 15/16, 22/23, 29/30 and May 20 and 21 when the same rail replacement services will also be in place. Passengers should check then before they travel for the latest updates.
