Sandwich Angels are appealing for donations to ensure they can carry out their vital work.
The local group collect food to feed those in need and are appealing for items to provide to those who would otherwise go without.
With an increase in demand, their stocks are now low and the team are now having to operate on an 'emergency case' priority.
Hyde-based Sandwich Angels do not receive government funding and therefore rely on donations to continue functioning.
Posting to their Facebook, they are appealing for: dairy products (cheese, butter or margarine), eggs, children's cereal, cordial juice, tinned rice puddings, tinned meat, tinned meals, tinned fruit, tinned vegetables, beans, pasta, rice, sauces, ready meals, frozen food, fresh fruit and vegetables, sanitary towels, toothpaste, toothbrush and nappies.
They do not currently need bread products due to donations from a local doctor who provides fresh bread every week.
Even one donation is valuable and goes so far in helping the group to help others.
To access volunteer drivers to collect items or to receive the drop-off address you can get in contact with Sandwich Angels on 07713973640.
Donations of supermarket vouchers can be sent to sandwichangelsgroup@hotmail.com.
