A number of schools in Ashton and Audenshaw have closed for the day after a burst water pipe on Stockport Road in Denton.
United Utilities are currently repairing the damage, which has affected residents since the early hours of this morning (6 September), and pumping extra water back in to build pressure.
Confirmed school closures are as follows:
