Stalybridge Street Fest to return this week

The area around Armentieres Square will be closed to vehicles earlier in the afternoon to allow stalls to set up.

The award-winning Stalybridge Street Fest will return to Armentieres Square this week.

It will be back on Friday (12 May) from 5pm to 9pm, with road closure signs already in place to warn motorists.

Organised by The Market Co, the successful early evening event has been running since 2021.

It offers great family entertainment, live music and a feast of hot food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

It will now run on the second Friday of every month for the rest of 2023, helped by funding awarded to Tameside Council from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for Communities and Place.
