A mixture of sunny spells and "blustery scattered showers" are forecast for Good Friday, turning heavy and thundery at times, with temperatures around average - maximum temperature 12 °C.
Despite the south of the country being hit with snow earlier today and a yellow alert for wind, the MET Office estimates that weather in Tameside will stay changeable without the Easter weekend with scattered showers and sunny spells on Saturday before turning drier on Easter Sunday with lighter winds.
