
The Gee Cross scarecrow festival starts today (Friday) and you get to decide on the best creation.
Residents throughout the area have created scarecrows from recycled materials and posted them outside their house.
From the 10th of September to the 17th, families can take a tour of Gee Cross and spot some straw friends. They can then vote on their favourite scarecrow in boxes around the village.
Cllr Phil Chadwick for Hyde Werneth has created his own scarecrow, dubbed ‘Leonard the Litter Picker’.
