Tameside Rotary, organisers of the Tameside Beer Festival, are putting the final touches in place as the countdown to the 13th Tameside Beer Festival begins.
This year’s Beer Festival – a major charity event and a welcome fixture on the Tameside calendar – will be held on Friday and Saturday 19/20 September at Stalybridge Civic Hall, Trinity Street, Stalybridge SK15 2BN. The event will be raising funds primarily for Willow Wood Hospice and The Christie Hospital, Manchester.
Tameside Rotary volunteers are aiming to make the popular event ‘pitcher perfect’ for the many visitors expected to attend over the two days. Entry will be £4 on the door providing festival goers with access to over 30 beers, lagers, cider and wine alongside food and live music with the return of two major headline acts - The Company of Strangers (Friday evening) and the Potcheen Chasers (Saturday evening) at 8 pm. The bass-ically awesome St John’s Brass Band, Mossley, will be striking up tunes from 6.30 pm on Saturday. Further announcements will follow. Doors are expected to open at 12 noon and the bar will close promptly at 10.30 pm on both nights.
So there will be plenty to toast at this year’s charity festival, which would not be possible without the avid support of local businesses, individuals and volunteers and it’s not too late to get involved! Local businesses, organisations and individuals can promote their services and products to festival goers through a range of low cost (£60-150) sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
Details of promotional opportunities can be found by visiting www.tamesiderotaryclub.com or www.tamesidebeerfestival.co.uk or you can contact the volunteer organising team directly by emailing beerfestival@tamesiderotary.onmicrosoft.com
The Tameside Beer Festival enjoys strong backing from the local community so Tameside Rotarians are hoping you will ‘hop’ along to Stalybridge and join them in saying ‘cheers’ to the beers and to raise a glass to make this year’s event a huge success.
You can learn more about the festival by following Rotary Tameside on Facebook, viewing the event website www.tamesidebeerfestival.co.uk and visiting www.TamesideRotaryClub.com where you will also find information about the club and how you can get involved to help support the local community.
