The Forever Green Community Group will be holding 'The Great Defib Auction and Raffle' on Saturday 26 August.
It's taking place from 4pm to 10pm at The Little Chap pub on Two Trees Lane in Haughton Green, as part of the Northern Soul night.
There will be excellent prizes, with funds being raised for the maintenance of local defibrillators, which help to save lives in the local community.
Donations for the auction would be most welcome.

The Forever Green Community Group aims to promote friendships and understanding between members of the Denton South community who may be isolated, alone, lonely, a carer, the cared for or anyone wishing to form friendships and social interactions.
