Tameside Rotary Beer Festival organisers are raising a toast to their new venue for the 2023 Tameside Beer Festival.
The charity fundraising beer festival, a popular fixture on the Tameside event calendar, is moving to Hyde Town Hall because of roof restoration works at Stalybridge Civic Hall where the festival has been held in previous years.
The beer festival, organised by Tameside Rotary, has gone from strength to strength and last year raised over £8k for good causes.
This year’s event will be held on Friday and Saturday, September 22-23 at Hyde Town Hall, Corporation Street, Hyde, opening at noon and closing at 11pm each day.
One of the beer festival organisers, Tameside Rotary President Elect Steve Knowles, said: “We are very ‘hop-timistic’ that we can utilise the iconic town hall to make it ‘pitcher perfect’ for the beer festival which last year had around 1000 visitors.
“We are revisiting our plans, racking up the beers and striking up the bands in readiness and expect to publish more details of the festival schedule in the coming weeks. We are also very grateful to those sponsors and advertisers who have already given their support to this year’s event.”
NEW VENUE: Hyde Town Hall will host this year's Tameside Rotary Beer Festival in September.
It's not too late to get involved in this year’s beer festival.
Local businesses and individuals can sponsor beer barrels and/or promote their organisation by taking an advertisement in the Tameside Beer Festival programme. Details of sponsorship and advertising options can be found by visiting www.tamesiderotaryclub.com or by emailing beerfestival@tamesiderotary.onmicrosoft.com
The Tameside Beer Festival enjoys strong backing from the local community so Tameside Rotarians are hoping you will join them to say ‘cheers’ to the beers and to raise a glass to make this year’s event a huge success in its new venue.
You can learn more about the festival by following Rotary Tameside on Facebook and visiting www.TamesideRotaryClub.com where you will also find information about the club and how you can get involved to help support the local community.
