
Three men from Tameside have been charged with drug offences after police carried out early morning raids.
Officers from the Serious & Organised Crime Unit carried out 10 search warrants at addresses across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Durham, and North Wales as part of an undercover operation.
A total of approximately 2kg of believed amphetamine has been recovered from three of the addresses along with ammunition and a large quantity of designer clothing valued in excess of £30,000.
James Mulligan, 28, of Hillside Close, Hyde, has been charged with conspiracy to supply class A and Class B drugs.
Damian Batty, 45, of Crawford Street, Ashton, has been charged with conspiracy to supply class A and class B drugs.
Jake Ashton, 31, of Maytree Crescent, Audenshaw, has been charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
Meanwhile, David Keenan, 41, of Turner Street, Bacup, has been charged with conspiracy to supply class A and class B drugs.
All four men have been remanded in custody and will appear before Manchester Crown Court on 18 November.
A 63-year-old woman and 50-year old man were released under investigation pending further enquiries.
