The CREATE centre in Denton is hosting a free musical extravaganza, featuring actress and singer Sue Devaney.
Taking place on Saturday July 24, the ‘Summer Celebration’ runs from 4.00 - 5.30pm.
Sue and a talented team of musicians will treat audiences to classic songs from the likes of Doris Day to Victoria Wood. The event also supports up and coming musical talent.
Throughout the celebrations, covid government guidelines will be followed and audiences are expected to social distance and wear a mask if possible.
To make staying safe even easier, hand sanitisers will be available and gazebos are going to section out seating areas.
The event is free, but people should let the organisers know they’re attending at Tameside Arts Facebook page here.
Community driven, the CREATE centre is an adaptable arts organisation and serves as a venue for lots of activities and events. The building also has a community café and regularly invites artists and crafters to showcase there.
Groups are welcome to hire out the space and can contact the centre on 0161 368 3422 or 07737178899 and email at create@tamesideartsltd.co.uk
