Two arrested after sports clothes stolen from Denton retail park

Police seized over £700 worth of stolen sports clothes from shoplifters in Denton.

Two people were also arrested as they attempted to leave Crownpoint Shopping Park in a Ford Transit van.

The driver was found to be disqualified so the van was also seized for having no insurance.

Among the sportswear stolen was a Manchester United shirt and a New Balance tracksuit top.

The incident happened last Thursday (30 March).
