Police in Tameside have renewed their appeal for CCTV and doorbell footage of a man suspected of stealing from cars.
At least six cars were tampered with or stolen from between 2:58am-4:00am on Friday January 17 along Broadoak Road, Spring Bank Avenue and Bromley Crescent in Ashton.
However, GMP believe more offences may have happened in the area and want to check footage from the streets above, as well as Lyndhurst Avenue, Waterloo Road, Green Lane, Smallshaw Fold, Wood Lane and Alt Road.
The suspect is a white male, who was wearing a black baseball cap, a blue hooded jacket, black tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe on the upper thigh, and grey trainers with a white sole and reflective logo.
He also had headphones around his neck after 2:58am.
If you have a CCTV system, please check your footage between 02:58am & 04:30am on the 17th Jan for a male matching the description above,” said PCSO Ryan Chadwick from Tameside North Neighbourhood Team.
“There may be a Range Rover Evoque involved also but we need further evidence to clarify this.
“If your footage shows the offender trying to open the door on your vehicle then an offence of Vehicle Interference has happened. Please report this online at www.gmp.police.uk”
