The cars were the stars at Hyde Market ground last Saturday - although they were given a close run for their money.
The traditional classic car event has been a regular and popular attraction at the market ground over many years, but sadly the pandemic had put the brakes on such celebrations.
But now the Tame Valley Vintage Classic Car Club are back on the road, with members showing off their assortment of cars and bikes which attracted good crowds into the town centre - albeit at a social distance.
But almost stealing the show were the panto characters from Hyde Little Theatre, who brought a little extra magic as they promoted their production of ‘Sleeping Beauty The Movie’. The show is coming to the Festival Theatre in Hyde and opens on Saturday.

It was hoped the show could have been staged earlier in the year but sadly the lockdown and Covid restrictions have forced its delay until now.
Covid safety precautions will be in place and the audience will be restricted in numbers but seats are still available - so the cast joined in the fun in the sun to promote their show on Saturday.
The special guest was The Civic Mayor of Tameside Cllr Janet Cooper, who attended with her consort Mr Dennis Fitzpatrick.
They enjoyed touring each of the cars and certainly looked the part when it came to inspecting the Morris police vehicle.
