A Tameside man wanted on recall to prison was found by police in a hotel in Manchester city centre.
Greater Manchester Police's Tameside District Tasking Team had established that Steven Langton was with a woman who had been reported missing from home, and whom a court order forbode him from being with.
Police say enquiries led them to an unnamed hotel on Monday (8 March) where the pair were found.
Langton, 34, of no fixed abode, was arrested for a breach of a non molestation order and recall to prison.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning (9 March), Langton was charged for the breach and remanded to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court, before being returned to prison.
