With Christmas fast approaching, residents in Audenshaw congregated on Friday and Saturday night in a bid to feel festive.
On Friday night, hundreds of people flocked to Audenshaw Memorial Gardens for the annual switch-on. The event included musical acts, magical lights and refreshments.
Audenshaw's Christmas festivities continued this evening at the Memorial Gardens. Residents braved the bitterly cold weather to attend the Christmas lights switch-on event, which included refreshments and music.

24 hours later saw another large gathering on Woodhouses Avenue, as home owner Kim Ryan put on her own event to raise funds for Francis House Children's Hospice.
As well as musical acts, the event showcased her decorated house, which includes L.E.D lights, huge presents, baubles and board signs.
We're at Woodhouses Avenue in Audenshaw for a festive get-together. Kim Ryan has put on a musical event, in front of her decorated house, to raise funds for Francis House Children's Hospice. The facility took care of her son, Cameron, who passed away in 2010. If you're feeling festive, come on down for a great cause. Refreshments are available.
