Tameside Radio Local Music Spotlight
There are so many talented and versatile musicians in our communities.
To help support them, we've launched an exciting new feature on Tameside Radio where we will choose a local band or artist from across Greater Manchester or Derbyshire who have recorded original music to be a featured act each week.
Every weekday, our daytime presenters Alex Cann, Martin Emery and Dave Sweetmore will be playing some of their tracks in each of their shows, in addition to the normal music playlist.
Each band or artist will also be interviewed either remotely or in the Tameside Radio studio, with clips featuring during the daytime shows and the full interview will be played on The Dave Sweetmore Show on Monday nights at 7pm.
They will also receive coverage across the Tameside Radio social media channels and in the Tameside Reporter and Glossop Chronicle print editions.
