Tom Byrom

Artist of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight feature is Tom Byrom. He's a musician who has been on the Northwest music scene for many years, and since his band 'Lyon Road' called it a day in 2016, he's wasted no time in making himself a popular face on the scene as a solo artist. He's a busy man, playing at solo gigs around the Northwest weekly, with his main influences coming from many of the great Blues and Soul icons. He also plays selected events backed by a seven-piece band, under the name 'Tom Byrom and The Players Club'. Songs released so far include 'Get It', 'Someone Just Like You', 'Waiting On Somebody To Love', 'We Were Just Kids', and 'The Devil Is Back', and Tom is currently working on an album which features all aspects of his work so far. You can find his music on Spotify and all good music streaming sites. Tom Byrom will be played on every weekday show on Tameside Radio between 6am and 7pm all of next week.
