A friendly, open farm, it has everything you need for a fun day with the kids in the summer holidays.
The real stars of Matlock Farm Park are the animals and they have some real characters! From farm animals such as sheep, goats, pigs, cattle, donkeys, and ponies, to more exotic creatures such as wallabies, alpacas, emus, rhea birds, and meerkats.
All their animals are happy to make friends and will welcome you back time after time. The pet rabbits and guinea pigs are always a favourite with the children. At set times you can help feed the meerkats, handle the small animals and meet the wallabies. You can buy a bag of animal food and have them eating out of your hands! Or why not check out the ferret racing!
Stop for a rest and enjoy some lunch at the licensed Garden Room Café or the Rainforest Coffee Shop, or take your own snacks to eat in a range of picnic areas, including tables and benches on the lawn, or inside the marquee for those colder days. There are several play areas too, indoor and out, for the kids to let off steam!
