The One World Festival in New Mills on Saturday was such a great success that is has been hailed as one of the best ever.
The popular, free fun-packed community event made a welcome return to High Lea Park after a break due to Covid-19.
Run by volunteers from the community, the family friendly event included a wide range of stalls and activities, food, and live music.
The event celebrates peace, the environment, cultural diversity, and world development, and the theme for this year was 'Reconnect: With the world, your community and each other'.

Organisers said in a statement: “We reckon it was one of the best ever, with a great turn out and people staying the whole afternoon to watch the music, visit the stalls, enjoy some yummy street food. and take part in the activities on the field.
“We’ve also had some great feedback with people saying how much they enjoyed themselves.”
They thanked everyone who helped put on the event, including the bands, performers, stallholders and, most of all, their wonderful volunteers.
